PRODUCT INFORMATION
CoolFlow
FX80 is a proprietary blend of refined vegetable
extracts that are biodegradable and has a very low odour or oral toxicity. CoolFlow FX80
has slightly better heat transfer and flow characteristics than propylene glycol for systems operating between
+50°C to -35°C. It is
suitable for use in the food
and beverage industry or
for systems where low oral toxicity is preferred. CoolFlow
FX80 contains
Non-Toxic (GRAS) multi-metal inhibitors to protect chillers and associated colling systems against corrosion and
scale, thus prolonging equipment life and thermal efficiency. CoolFlow
FX80 has excellent
frost protection characteristics; please refer to our Technical Info sheet for further details. CoolFlow
FX80 can be dyed and/or a very strong taste additive
added, to deter human consumption and for identifying leaks.
APPLICATION
CoolFlow
FX80 is best diluted with UltraPure, demineralised
or softened water. For exact proportions to achieve desired frost protection, please refer to the Technical Info sheet.
COOLANT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
(CMP)
The CMP verifies coolant concentration & condition, including inhibitor reserves. It also helps to identify
corrosion by-products and any biological activity. Please click here for further details.
AVAILABILITY

FX80 is packed in 25L, 205L and 1000L containers.
40 tonnes+ is always kept in stock and can be despatched within hours.
STORAGE
CoolFlow
FX80 should be stored in cool, dry conditions
and drums should be kept sealed. It is not classed as hazardous for transport or storage purposes.
